| Edwards Spencer Eugene Leon Edwards, Sr., 69, of Eldorado, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Eldorado. Leon was born July 5, 1941, in Quanah, Texas, to James Leon and Gladys (Rockholt) Edwards. He married Lois Blythe March 19, 1967, in Dodson, Texas. They divorced twenty-two years ago, but still had a wonderful relationship. Leon was a member of the Episcopal Church. Leon is survived by two sons, Spencer Edwards and Russell Edwards, both of Eldorado; one daughter, Amanda Bartley of Quanah, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kinsey Edwards, Kelsey Edwards, Cheyenne Edwards, Hunter Edwards, Luke Edwards, Savannah Bartley, and Mason Woods; three great-grandchildren, Payton Edwards, Paytience Edwards, and Khloee Edwards; and the mother of his children, Lois Edwards of Quanah, Texas. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family requests that in Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leon's favorite charity, St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel in Eldorado from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011, at the Eldorado Cemetery with Reverend Richard Manning officiating.
