| Sadie Christena Ingram Sadie Christena Ingram, age 72 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born August 6,1932 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to E.H. and Vorelda (Burris) Byrum. On January 6, 1964 in Altus, Oklahoma Christena and William C. Ingram were united in marriage. She owned and operated Judy’s Beer to Go in Altus for the last thirteen years. Her special hobby was spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Bill Ingram of the home in Altus, Oklahoma, step-mother Norma Byrum of Altus, Oklahoma; five daughters Susie Stauffer and husband Gary of Smackover, Arkansas, Teresa Higginbotham and husband John of Olustee, Oklahoma, Sharon Collins of Lawton, Oklahoma, Rina Payne and husband Bob of Altus, Oklahoma, Judy Ingram of Altus, Oklahoma. She is also survived by one sister Marylue McKnight of Titusville, Florida; five brothers Mac Byrum of Winslow,Arkansas, Alvin Byrum and wife Velma of West Fork, Arkansas, Elmer Byrum and wife Melba Jean of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Calvin Byrum and wife Lazetta of Pervis, Mississippi, Keith Byrum of Lawton, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one son. Funeral Service for Christena Ingram is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lowell- Tims Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. |
| Irions Billy Calvin Irions, Sr. age 71, of Altus passed away on May 8, 2007 at Plantation Villiage Nursing Center in Altus. He was born June 11, 1935 in Hayti, Missouri to William Thomas Irions and Alice Marie (Sloan) Irions. On September 24, 1954 Billy and Kathryn Hicks were united in marriage. He had lived in the Altus community since 1973. Billy joined the United States Air Force in 1956 at Caruthersville, Missouri. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. He retired in 1976 as a Staff Sergeant from the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Soutside Baptist Church in Altus. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathryn; three children, Gary Irions, Paula Novotny and Billy C. Irions,Jr. He is also survived; three brothers, Marvin Irions, John Irions, and Bobby Irions; three sisters, Carlice Barnett, Francis Johnson and Joyce Ellison; his grandchildren Jay and Ashley Foster, Josh and Susan English, Stephanie Irions, Jared Novotny, Sarah Novotny, Kriston Novotny, Katie-Re Irions; great-granddaughter, Joslyn English. Memorial service for Billy Calvin Irions, Sr. is scheduled for Friday, May 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Duree officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
