Alice Faye Greear, 62, of Mountain Park passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010. Alice was born July 3, 1947 in Yakima, Washington to Floyd and Azell (Monk) Ward. She married Jerry Greear on June 14, 1966 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma. She was a wonderful cook and worked at the Mountain Park Café for many years. She also worked with her family in a landscaping business. She was an artist with a weed-eater. She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Christopher Greear and Quentin Greear; and by two sisters-in-laws, Carol Ward and Wanda Greear. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Mike Russo of Indiahoma, Ok; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Jenny Greear of Stratford, OK and Bruce and Amy Greear of Mountain Park, OK; one sister, Janice Long and her husband Roy of Yukon, OK; one brother, Andy Ward of Pryor, OK; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one uncle, Jerry Monk of Locust Grove, OK; and by many other family, friends and loved ones. Services have been scheduled for 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Mountain Park with Pastor Emitt Hayslip officiating. Mrs. Greear will lay in state at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery.
