

| Billy Bert Simco was born in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Eva and Bert Simco. He graduated from Sentinel High School and enlisted in the Navy in 1956. His Navy years were served off the coast of San Diego, Calif., where he met and married his wife Valerie Stuart Simco of Edinburgh, Scotland. After his discharge from the Navy, they came to Altus where they raised their two sons, Stuart and his wife Tammy of Tulsa, and Scot and Cheryl of Altus. Bill worked for United Supermarket for over 30 years and retired as a General Manager for the company. He was a co-owner of Val's It 's About Time restaurant. He also owned and raised greyhounds for 15 years north of Altus. He served as president of the Oklahoma Greyhound Association from 1996 until 1998. His greatest loves were his family and his dogs. Survivors are his wife of 51 years; two sons; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Bill was a man of honor and integrity, a great husband, dad, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by the many who knew and loved him. The family will honor Bill's life in a private family service.
