



| Billie Hankins, 81, a longtime resident in the Eldorado Community, passed away at the Vernon Care Center in Vernon, Texas, on Friday, May 14, 2010. Billie was born on Jan. 27, 1929, to Albert and Jewell (Spencer) Weddle at Eldorado. Billie married Tommie (Clifford Doyle) Hankins on March 27, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas. For nearly 65 years they lived in the Eldorado Community. Billie was a homemaker. Billie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Geneva Dawson; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Dawson; and one granddaughter, Sara Osborne. She is survived by her three daughters, Tommie Ann Hatcher of Irving, Texas, Shelia Brown and husband Preston of Edmond, and Chris Quisenberry and husband David of Vernon; five grandchildren, Cary Osborne and wife Veronica of Grand Prairie, Texas, Shane Osborne and wife Tami of Eldorado, T.J. Osborne of Allen, Texas, Scott Bernard and wife Angela of Edmond, and Chad Bernard and wife Denise of Edmond; and six great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, May 17, at the Eldorado Cemetery officated by Dr. Ron Killingsworth. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will greet friends Sunday, May 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Eldorado Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. |
