Federico Esquivel, Jr.
| Federico Esquivel, Jr. Federico Esquivel, Jr., age 64, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010. He was born September 3, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Federico and Nicole (Reyes) Esquivel, Sr. He moved to the Altus area at a young age. He married Delia Guerra on January 8, 1966 in Altus. Federico worked as a farm laborer for most of his life. In more recent years, he enjoyed working as a salesman for G & P Motors. He loved people and always had a joke or happy story to share with those he met. Federico was a devoted family man. His favorite thing was to have cookouts for all his family and friends. Mr. Esquivel was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers. He is lovingly survived by Delia, his wife of 43 years; six children, Betty Vasquez, Rosalinda Reeves and her husband Chris, Elizabeth Cruz and husband Robert, Fred Esquivel III, Daniel Esquivel and Joanne Billarrial and husband Joe, all of Altus; two brothers; nine sisters; and ten grandchildren. Rosary services for Federico Esquivel will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening at Lowell-Tims Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Sundar Putota officiating.
