

| Jerry Tinney Jerry Lynn Tinney, 65, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Oklahoma City. Jerry was born February 2, 1994 in Altus, Oklahoma to William B. and Chalton (Ledbetter) Tinney. He graduated from Martha High School in 1962. He worked as a machinest for Johnson Machine Company until his retirement in 1979 due to his health. He had been a resident of Willow Park in Lawton, Oklahoma for the past several years. He loved living there and was know to comment “It’s the best I’ve ever had it!” when referring to Willow Park. The staff called him “Our Angel” because of his happy, loving personality. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers, Gary Wayne Tinney and Benny Ray Tinney. Jerry is lovingly survived by two sisters, Patty (Tinney) Mullins and JoNita (Tinney) Autiener; one sister-in-law, Sandra Tinney; several nieces and nephews; and by several cousins including Dale Ledbetter of Duke, Oklahoma, Jackie Ledbetter and Lyn Brown, both of Altus. A memorial service has been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Altus Centennial Memorial located in Altus City Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Baker and Mike Brown will be officiating. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A private interment will be at a later date in the Altus City Cemetery.
