Naomi Ruth Knox was born June 4, 1915 in the Friendship, Oklahoma area, to
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Robertson.  She attended and graduated from Warren
High School in 1934.  She married her high school sweetheart, Roy Knox on
March 14, 1935.  They celebrated their 69th Anniversary prior to his death in
2004.  
     Naomi and Roy owned and operated the Warren Grocery Store until 1945,
then opened Knox Hardware in Blair, Oklahoma which they operated until their
retirement in the 1980's.  They joined the Blair First Baptist Church on March
17, 1946 where Naomi later taught Sunday School for several years.
     Naomi did art work in oils and acrylics and painted several beautiful
paintings.  After retiring, Naomi and Roy moved to Spanish Cove Retirement
Community in Yukon, Oklahoma where she lived until her death.  She went to
be with her Savior and her husband on May 10, 2010.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, T.H. & F.L. Robertson; her
husband, Roy Knox; one daughter, Lavelle in 1991; six sisters, Annie, Lottie,
Lina, Claudia, Rosie and Pauline; and by seven brothers, Ernest, William, Roy,
Walter, Earl, Lester and Clifford.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
     Services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Blair
First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow
in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
