Reba Jo Shivers, 79, of Altus went to be
with her Lord and Saviour on Monday,
November 28, 2011.

Reba was a devoted mother, grandmother,
sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Reba Jo was born February 22, 1932, in
Altus to Henry and Nezzie Shivers.  She
attended Lincoln School in Altus.  She was
a Nurse's Aide and a seamstress, making
several of her own outfits.  She was a great
cook, and Reba was the backbone for all her
family and will be truly missed.

Reba was preceded in death by her mother
Nezzie, her father Henry, her brother H.W.
Shivers, an infant son Craig, her oldest son
Gerald Williams, a grandson Hubert Lynn
Edwards, II, and her longtime companion of
many years and the father of her children,
Charles L. White.

Reba is survived by her sister, Cordia
Collins of Aurora, Colorado; eight children,
Ramona, Hubert (Valerie), Cordia, Henry
(Carolyn), Suzzanne, Joyce, James
(Sharon), and Dessie; three step-children,
James White, Charles White, Jr., and Prince
White; thirty-two grandchildren, thirty-eight
great-grandchildren, several nieces,
nephews, cousins, and many friends.  She
will be greatly and truly missed by everyone
in her life.


Funeral Services for Reba Jo Shivers will be
held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011,
at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Pastor Charlene
Walker officiating.  Interment will follow at
the Altus City Cemetery under the direction
of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
