Ruby Kennedy
| Ruby Kennedy Ruby Kennedy, born April 16, 1918, returned to her Lord and savior’s loving Grace February 17, 2010. She is preceded by her parents Arthur and Ethel Spracklen, sisters Laura and Arthel, children Phyllis and Benny. Ruby is survived by loving family members—sisters Johnnie Ervin and Betty Durham, grandchildren Kathy Applewhaite and Joseph Willis, great- granddaughter Cindy Ortiz. Although she has passed this way, she has deeply impacted so many with her love, sit, and strong, determined with that served faithfully in her early years and later in the waning moments of her life. We celebrate her life as we acknowledge God’s good grace to rest her weary soul. We love you Granny, forever rest in peace. Graveside services for Ruby Kennedy are scheduled for 4:00 pm Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Granite City Cemetery with Rev. Arol Steverson officiating. Arrangements are under the directions of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. |
