On August 23,1941 in Elk City, Oklahoma  Everett and Mary Ruth Kingsford were united in
marriage. She preceded him in death July 7, 2004.
He was called into the ministry at a young age and completed his ministerial training at Oklahoma
Baptist University.  He pastured at several churchs in Southwest Oklahoma, Willow, Roosevelt,

they served until she became ill in 2001.  Everett was the father of six sons and made it a point to
raise them by example.  He was a hard worker and always on time. He didn’t expect any less from
his sons.  He laid a foundation and legacy that will live on through his family as well as the many
others he reached through his ministry. He also had a great love for his grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. He told them all great stories of the past but really enjoyed telling them over a
hamburger. He had such a great love for people.  He would go out of his way to speak to an old friend
or familiar face.
