Sue Bryant

Sue Bryant, 73, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Jackson County
Memorial Hospital.
Sue was born September 11, 1936, in Oklahoma City to Banny and Marian
Hockett.  She married Bernard Bryant on November 1, 1954 in Midwest City,
Oklahoma. They moved to Altus in 1972.  After Bernard’s commitment with the
Air Force ended, they remained in Altus.  Sue was an active member of the
Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW of which she was past president.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Theresa Sue in 1990; and
one brother, Larry Hockett.
Sue is lovingly survived by her husband, Bernard of the home in Altus; one son,
Robert Boyd Bryant and wife Tami of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters,
Kimberley Ann Bryant of Altus, Judith Lynn Struebing and husband Terry of
Tuscan, AZ, and Leslie Carol Bryant and finance Roger Lenahan of Edina, MN;
one sister, Nancy Onsurez and husband Issac of Reno, NV; one brother, Boyd
Hockett and wife Faye of Brackett, AR; nine grandchildren, Rosalynd Jester,
Trina Bryant, Christina Bryant, Andrew Struebing, Jonathan Struebing,
Christopher Richardson, Jeffrey Gilmore, Michael Gilmore, and Brian Bryant;
four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kaelyn, Kamryn, Riley; and by special friends,
Ron and Shirley Powers.
      Memorial services for Sue Bryant will be held at 3:30pm. Tuesday, January
12, 2010, at the Altus Centennial Memorial with Rev. Margie Van Oostrum
officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
      Memorials can be made in Lieu of Flowers to the American Cancer Society.
