

| Thomas Arnold Terbush, 63, of Blair, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at his home with his family by his side. Tom was born to Thomas E. and Hazel E. (Blaylock) Terbush on February 6, 1947, in Groom, Texas. He graduated from Monterey High School in May of 1965, and in 1966, joined the United States Air Force. While in the service, he reached the rank of E-8 and was a Flight Engineer on C-141 A and B model airplanes. He spent 25 years serving his country, and during those years, he earned the nickname “Terrible Tom.” Tom married Patricia Jean Morris in 1966 and to this union three children were born: Thomas Eugene, Margaret Eulene, and Lonnie Ray. After his first wife’s death, he married Patricia Adams in 1985 in Altus. When he retired from the Air Force in 1991, they moved to Blair and remained there until his death. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Thomas E. Terbush; and an infant brother, Lonnie. Tom is survived by his wife Pat of the home in Blair; one daughter, Margaret Terbush of Altus; sons, Thomas Terbush of Corsicana, Texas, and Lonnie Terbush and wife Stacie of Warren, Douglass Bachlott and wife Rebecca of Rockville, Md., and Kevin Bachlott and wife Mandi of Weatherford; his mother, Hazel Terbush of Altus; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean, Texas, with Stefan Valdez from the Martha Road Baptist Church officiating.
