Kathy Christine (Muncrief) Campbell was born on Christmas day 1949 to Oran and Marie Muncrief of Madill, Oklahoma. Kathy married Cooper Campbell on February 11, 1970 in Altus, Oklahoma. They were the parents of five children, Christy (Mark) Turvaville of Lansing, Kansas, Tammy Campbell (Justin Plew) of Blair, Oklahoma, Britney (Will) Winkelmann of Duncan, Oklahoma, Sabra Campbell of Duncan, Oklahoma, and LCPL John Campbell of Camp Le Juene, North Carolina. “Mama and Papa Campbell’s grandchildren, A1C Megan Osborn of Malstrom Air Force Base, Montanta, Katlyn Osborn, Makenna and Payton Berg, and Emily Plew, Chance, Hunter, and Sadie Winkelmann, Cashen and Chasee Nance, Clay Campbell, and Courtney Randolph. “Mama Campbell” was very talented, creative, and generous. Her passion was spending time with family decorating, making candles, and watching her son and grandsons play baseball. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Comanche and Apache Casinos Poker Rooms in Lawton. Graveside Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the Navajo Cemetery with Reverend Mark Turvaville, son-in-law, officiating.
