Well, gee whiz; what have I been up to the last ten years? I live in Grand Prairie, Texas a suburb in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex (but, I still bleed OU crimson and cream, ‘cause I’m Sooner-born and Sooner- bred; and when I die, I’ll be Sooner-dead. Rah, Oklahoma!). My neighbor, who is a big UT fan, and I have a standing (but friendly) rivalry going on. He displays his UT stuff every year for OU/Texas weekend; and I display my OU stuff. Last year, he bought a big inflatable Bevo; and as you can see, I had to sabotage it (unfortunately, he had the last laugh). I’ve been married for over fifteen years to my best friend Robin. We have one son, Michael from her previous marriage. Michael is 25, married to Melissa; and we have twin grandsons, Nicholas and Nathaniel, that turned three in the middle of February. They call me Pappy. I’ll tell you, having kids is great, to say the least; but having grandkids is the greatest thing in the world (we can send them home when the fun is over). As you can tell from the pics, I am pretty crazy about my grandsons. My wife (Robin) was an engineering designer for several years at Bell Helicopter. She stays at home now, and has a trophy and plaque business that she runs out of our home. She went back to school and graduated from Tarrant County College (Phi Theta Kappa) in May 2005. I am a senior auditor with the Defense Contract Audit Agency, an agency within the Department of Defense; I’ve been with them now for almost 20 years. We do auditing and accounting advisory type work; looking at the internal controls of various systems (like accounting and estimating, among others); reviewing proposals, billings, costs incurred for Government contracts, etc., etc.; and generally just being a pain in the butt to the company where we are stationed. I’m hoping to retire before too many more years; but we’ll see, I guess. I may be a bit overly optimistic. Sometimes I can’t believe I am even old enough to think about that; but when I see my shiny bald head in the mirror, reality sinks in fast. Robin and I aren’t quite as adventurous as Timmy and Amber; we don’t ride motorcycles. I would imagine that Tim Felton and Joey Gregg will appreciate that fact. (Ask them what that means; I’d bet they’d remember.) That sure looks like fun, though. We like to take our boat out a lot; go zipping around the lake, and go fishing. I like to write in my spare time as a hobby; and Robin paints (we’re not quite as artsy-fartsy as that may sound). But, our favorite activity is chasing after our twin grandsons. I don’t get to Altus much any more; particularly since my mother passed away a couple of years ago; so, I am really looking forward to seeing everyone this coming summer! Here are a couple of pics of us. Please be kind! I’d bet some of you are old bald- headed fat farts, just like me!
