Dianna Lynn (DeShong) Landers, 70, passed away from this life at JCMH in Altus, OK on March 12, 2018 after a short illness.
Diane was born at her grandparents’ home in Blair, OK on July 5, 1947 to Bobby Jack and Kathleen DeShong.
A graduate of Blair High School, Diane was married on July 28, 1966 to James Nelson Landers in a ceremony at her parents’ home in Blair. The couple made their home south west of Altus for many years. To this union, two girls were born, Tanya Michelle (Landers) Croft and Amy Nicole (Landers) Holt. Diane was a cosmetologist until her retirement in 2013.
Diane enjoyed spending time with children and most of all her grandchildren. Diane was loving nicknamed “Gladys” by her husband and daughters. She also loved spending time with her beloved dog, Bella. Diane was known for her creativity and loved to decorate homes as well as drawing and painting.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, E.M. Landers; her loving sister, Suzi Campbell; and brother-in-law, Dale Landers.
She is survived by her husband, James Landers of Altus, OK; two daughters, Tanya Croft and husband Kevin of Altus & Amy Holt and husband Barry of Altus; 5 grandchildren, Dylan Holt and Shawna Williamson of Edmond, OK, Lance Holt and Bayli Harvick of Edmond, OK, Lane Holt of Edmond, OK, Kyli Croft and Shane Reaser of Altus, OK, Konner Croft and Alyssa Ornelas of Altus, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Karrigen Reaser of Altus, Ok and Olan Holt of Edmond, OK; mother-in-law, Odessia Landers of Altus, OK; sister, Shannon Aldrich of Wichita Falls, TX; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Glenda & Ricky Crouch of El Dorado, OK; brother-in law & sister-in-law, Pat & Janie Campbell of Blair, OK; sister-in-law, Diane Raley Landers of Altus, OK as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
The family will greet friends at visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus with Pastor Ricky Crouch officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
