Jeannie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus where she also attended The Forever Grace Sunday school class. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren baking, crafting, and gardening. She was an avid sports fan and loved everything Boston. She loved to spend time on her patio tending to her precious garden as well as spending much time with her close friends.
After moving to the area to be closer to her son and grandkids, Jeannie worked as a bookkeeper for the Quartz Mountain lodge and later for the Winters’ in the same role. Work was very important to her, and she was a great example by not viewing work just for earning money, but for finding purpose and the ability to help others, and in this Jeannie continued working all through her illness and up to her very last days.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Southwest Oklahoma Cancer Centers Altus location @ JCMH Foundation SWOKCC Altus fund, PO Box 8190, Altus, OK 73522.
