Robin Lynn Reynolds Prince was born May 9,1965 in Gainesville, Florida, to James (Jim) Reynolds and Lynda Whorton Reynolds. She gained her angel wings and stepped into heaven on January 31, 2018 at Integris Baptist Hospital in OKC. Robin spent her childhood as an Air Force brat. She lived with her parents in Cross City, Florida, Montgomery, Alabama, Fukuoka, Japan, Wakkani, Japan, Norman, OK, Syracuse, New York, and the Washington DC area. Her family moved to Harmon County in 1980. Robin graduated from Hollis H.S. in 1983. She furthered her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Western State College, and received her degree in elementary education from Cameron University, in 1989.

She married Randy Prince of Hollis, OK, in 1985. To this Union two daughters completed their family. Lyssa Renae was born April 5, 1990 and Lynlee Rae was born May 16. 1994.

Robin began teaching at Sallie Gillentine Elementary School in 1991. Her first class was 1st grade for one year. She taught 3rd grade from 1992 until the present. Robin loved her students. Her theme for her classroom was her favorite cartoon, Peanuts. Robin was very young when she lived in Japan, but the Japanese culture intrigued her. She taught a class on Japan for her students for many years. She shared some of the family mementos from Japan including her kimono.

Robin was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church and served the church in many capacities. She was a 4-H volunteer for many years. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed her fur babies, gardening, and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Prince, daughters Lyssa and Lynlee and Lynlee’s fiancé Jared Dill, mother Lynda Reynolds Burns, uncle Bob Reynolds and wife Cece Reynolds, cousin Christie McAvoy, mother and father-in-law Jim and Phyllis Prince, brothers in law Mike Prince and wife Zan and Tim Prince and wife Nichole and many other cousins and extended family.

In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Hollis PTO for Teacher Supplies, 310 N. 6th, Hollis, OK 73550.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Hollis, Oklahoma with Pastor Don Altom officiating. Services are under the direct ion of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
