Obituary for Adalene Peterson
Mrs. M.L. (Adalene) Peterson passed away Tuesday, August 20th, 1996, in the St. Johns Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, August 23, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. at Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Interment is under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peterson was born May 11th, 1903 in Jackson County. She attended Headrick schools. After her marriage to Marvin Peterson on January 12, 1921, they made their home in Altus, until 1947 when they moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma. M.L. Peterson preceded her in death on April 26, 1982. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include: a daughter, Virginia Lewis and her husband J. Furman of Tulsa, OK; brother-in-laws, Clifford Peterson of Altus, OK and Harold Peterson and wife Lucille of Roosevelt, OK; three grandchildren, Jack David Edmonds, Jeffrey Barron Edmonds and Bradley Paul Edmonds; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Taylor Edmonds, all of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Marvin Peterson, 4-26-1982.
