Obituary for Agnes Hollis
Agnes Mourton Hollis was born July 1st, 1917 at Mena, Arkansas. She died November 1st, 1992 at the Jackson County Memorial Hoispital in Altus. She moved to Lone Wolf with her parents, Frank and Dove Mourton, as a young girl. She married Carl Winters in 1932 in Lone Wolf and he preceded her in death in 1958. She later married Bill Hollis. She moved to Jackson County in 1945 where she was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church. She was active in the Senior Citizens Program in Altus.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Interment will be in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: four children, Bobbie Denton of Little Rock, AR, Kay Beltz and Kelly Perry of Altus, Oklahoma and Jo Williams of Iowa Park, TX; two brothers, Raymond Mourton of Oregon and H. J. Mourton of Rhode Island; three sisters, Pearl Winningham and Nadine Standstrom of Oregon and Alene Ledbetter of Hobart, OK; nine grandchildren, Valerie Denton, Carl Denton, Rhonda Lucich, Mike Beltz, John Beltz, Brad Williams, Mitch Williams, Kenna Perry and Kyle Perry; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Robert Carl Winters in 1958; two sisters and a son-in-law.
