Obituary for Alfredo Alejandre
Alfredo Alejandre, also known as "G", devoted son and friend to many, passed away to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the age of 40, after a short, but strong battle with cancer. God blessed our family with Alfredo Alejandre, who was born June 20, 1972, in Hereford, Texas, to San Juanita Contreras and Eusebio Alejandre Sr., where they lived for a couple of years before moving to Altus, Oklahoma.
The family moved to Altus, Oklahoma, in 1974 where "G" grew up along with other his siblings and graduated in 1990 from Altus High School. He then became an employee of Bar-S Foods, Inc., where he later became disabled. He was an outgoing person, never a dull moment, and never knew a stranger.
"G" had a golden heart and was the best person one could ever meet. Even through his fight with cancer, he still made people laugh. He was caring, loving, and, in general, had a great personality. He loved to cook for everyone, even if one was not hungry. "G" always had children swarming around him, and everyone loved "G" so dearly.
"G" will be reunited with his sister Janie Inez Alejandre, brother Roland Ray Olivas, grandmother San Juanita Contreras, grandfather Juan Contreras, and great-grandparents Candelario and Francisca Suniga, and many loved ones.
"G" is survived by his mother, San Juanita Contreras and her husband Martin Villegas; his father Eusebio Alejandre Sr., of Hereford, Texas; four brothers, Jr. Alejandre and his wife Sonya of Hereford, Texas; Joe Alejandre and his wife Brandy of Altus, Oklahoma; Manuel Olivas and his wife Bonnie of Winfield, Kansas; Robert Alejandre of Altus, Oklahoma; two sisters, Norma Garcia and her husband Ricardo of Altus, Oklahoma, Jessica Castro and husband Efrain of Altus; nineteen special nieces, nephews, special aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who have a place in "G"s" heart.
Viewing and a special service will be held by Brother Alex Casias, Tuesday at 6:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Brother Joe Tovar officiating. Interment will be at the Olustee Cemetery, in Olustee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
