Obituary for Alfredo Villarreal Maldonado
Alfredo V. "PoPo" Maldonado, 50, lifetime resident of Altus and Jackson County, passed away Monday, November 1st, 2010 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Freddie was born July 21, 1960, in Robbstown, Texas to Francisco Maldonado and Aurora (Villarreal) Maldonado. He moved to the Altus area at a young age. He married Norma Estraca on January 31, 1980 in Vernon, Texas. Freddie was a devoted husband and father and adored spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He ran his on Construction Company and specialized in laying concrete.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Maldonado; one sister, Rosa Marie; and a nephew, Ray Maldonado.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Norma of the home in Altus; one son, Michael and Priscilla Maldonado of Altus; a daughter, Tasha Garza; four grandchildren, Michael Alfredo Maldonado, Mariah M. Maldonado, Bailey Garza and Christian Maldonado; four brothers, Frank and Juanita Maldonado, Juan and Carla Maldonado, Leo and Molly Maldonado and Danny Maldonado; three sisters, Delia and Benny Maldonado, Rosa and Roy Gonzalez, and Molly Reimer; and by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Brother Wayne Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
The family will receive guests on Thursday evening, Nov. 4th from 7 until 8 pm at Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
The family suggests that donations can be made at the First State Bank of Altus or at the Wal-Mart Branch of the First State Bank.
