Obituary for Allen L. "Big Boy" Tabb
Allen L. "Big Boy" Tabb, age 70, passed away Tuesday, June 18th, 1996 at his home after a lengthy illness. Allen was born February 11th, 1926, in Blair, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Allen Henry and Vista Tabb. He attended Blair School.

Allen joined the Navy and served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He returned to Jackson County in 1983 from Garden Grove, CA.

On March 4, 1994, he and Rosa Lee Myers were united in marriage at Vernon, TX. Allen was General Manager of Jezowski Cement Contractors in Garden Grove, CA. He retired in 1983 from Jezowski's with 30 years of experience. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Garden Grove.

"Big Boy" enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with his friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers, Raymond and Kenneth Tabb.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee of the home; two brothers, Clovis Tabb of Garland, TX and Harlan Tabb of Altus; one sister, O'Wayne McLeod of Altus; several nieces and nephews; and by two special friends, Fred Cobb and Mattie Lee Russell of Blair, OK.
