Mr. Allen Mitchell Parsley, age 80, of Elmer, OK, died on Saturday, April 13th, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Elmer Baptist Church, Monday, April 15, 1968, 2:30 P.M., with the Reverend Cecil Stuliss officiating. Burial will be in the Hess Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Parsley was married to the former Viola Rooker November 14, 1909 in Hess, OK. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his wife, of the home; two daughters, Zetta Bell Burkson of Texarkana and Margene Moore of Altus; two sons, James R. Parsley and Elmer G. Parsley, both of Altus; two grandchildren that he raised, Alfred G. Hanna of Altus and Mrs. Judy Channell of Dallas, TX; 14 grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John R. Parsley of Dallas, TX.
