Allie Lee Parks, 65, died Saturday at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for Thursday at 11:00 am in the Lowell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Keith Wiginton, Rev. Noel George. Burial will be in Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Parks was born November 29, 1924 at Gould, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Steve and Fannie Speaks. She moved to Altus in 1942 where she was active in Real Estate and private business. She married Jessie Jerrel Parks October 2, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was a member of the AARP, Local Association of Mature People, W.O.W., Singles First Baptist Sunday School Department and Seniors Class at the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Jerry Dale Parks, Altus, Oklahoma; Terry Lee Bailey, Altus, Oklahoma; Jerrel Dene Bruno, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; brothers George Speaks, Las Vagas, Nevada; Jim Speaks, Sacremento, California; Jesse Speaks, Stockton, California; sister, Mabel Anderson, Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Jerrel Parks.
