Obituary for Alma Lucille Walker
Alma Lucille Walker, age 91, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 22, 1914 in Altus, Oklahoma to H. C. and Callie Aurora Walker.
Lucille had lived in the Altus community all of her life. She worked as a customer service representative for Arkla Gas Company in Altus for thirty-two years. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Altus.
She is survived by one sister Wilma Van Horn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; cousins, Donna James and husband Leon of Altus, Oklahoma; Joe McClearen and wife Margaret of Altus, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Mary Ella Brown, two brothers Jim Walker and H.C. Walker, Jr.
Graveside services for Alma Lucille Walker are scheduled for Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altus City Cemetery with Rod Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
