Alton is survived by his mother Mable McConnell, of Altus, Oklahoma; brothers, Delbert McConnell, of Tipton, Oklahoma; Clarence McConnell, of Altus, Oklahoma; Loyd McConnell, of Altus, Oklahoma; sister Betty Cunningham of Hobart, Oklahoma.
