Alvin Alfred Pitts
Alvin Alfred Pitts, age, 90, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Plantation Village Nursing Center.
On August 6, 1915, he was born to John Pitts and May (Walker) Pitts, in Roosevelt, Oklahoma.
On September 19, 1939, Alvin married Imogene Bradshaw in Snyder, Oklahoma.
Alvin worked for the City of Altus in the Water Dept. as a supervisor. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church where he was a Deacon of the church, he also helped build the Auditorium at the church in 1953, and he was a member of the American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one daughter-in-law.
Alvin is survived by his wife Imogene Pitts, of Altus, one son, Ronnie, Altus and one grandson, Kevin and wife Torria of Atoka, Oklahoma, and a host of other relatives and friends.
