The children of Ann Oxendine has suffered a great loss. Their mother, at age of 61 has died. She was born August 23, 1938 in Richmond Hill, New York, first generation born to a German-Irish family in the United States. In Life, mama enjoyed the capabilities of the human mind, spirit, and life itself. She was employed by Jackson County Memorial Hospital until 1988 at which time she suffered a stroke and was not able to work.

Mama is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sons.

She is survived by five children, fifteen grandchildren. Our mother, Ann will be missed and leaves a legacy of Strong will, Love and Faith. Mama is no longer suffering from the limitations left her from the stroke and instead she is singing and walking in the Glory and Wonders of Heaven.
