Annie (Glenn) Stanton was born on January 8th, 1907 in Blair, Oklahoma to W. E. and Vandus Britton Martin. She died on September 26th, 1990 at her home in Altus, Oklahoma. She had lived in Jackson County all of her life. She was united in marriage with Lewis Stanton and he preceded her in death in 1969.

Survivors include: a granddaughter, Sharman Bader of Minneapolis, MN; one son, Elwood Burgess, Jr. of Berlin, PA; one sister, Eula Marlin of Altus, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
