Obituary for Annie Hunt
Mrs. Annie Hunt, age 75, of 810 E. Walnut, Altus, died March 20th, 1977, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tabernacle Baptist Church, Wednesday, with the Reverend Hoyette Lemmon officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hunt was born November 22nd, 1901 in Alabama and she was married to John Hunt on November 4, 1917 at Shark, Arkansas. She had worked at Moon's Laundry before retirement. She was a former member of the Rebeckha's and a resident of Altus for 53 years.
Survivors include: her husband, John of the home; one daughter, Faye A. Roberson of Altus; four sons, Elton of Modesto, CA, Sam of Cuba, MO, Doyle of Altus and Oklahoma City; two sisters, Velma Kemp of El Reno and Violet Powers of Danville, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; 23 grandchildren; one son Wayne preseded her in death in 1976.
