Obituary for Annie Mae Nock
Former Altus resident Annie Mae Nock, age 85, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, was born January 24th, 1909, the daughter of the late Will and Laurie Jane (McGinnis) Claiborne. She was a longtime Jackson County resident. On November 21, 1925, she and George A. Nock were united in marriage at Quanah, TX. Mr. Nock preceded her in death September 7, 1994.

Mrs. Nock passed away Thursday, December 29th, 1994 in the Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Guthrie, Oklahoma.after a lengthy illness.

Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 1995 in the Altus City Cemetery with Father Tim Luschen officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; she was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Dalhia Garden Club and a member of the Woodmen Circle for 60 years, Altar Society and AARP. The Nock family will be greeting friends at the Funeral Home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Survivors include: three children, Wanda Patterson and husband Jim of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Virginia Parrish and husband Dan of Edmond, OK and Ben Eva Gale and husband Mikel of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Ben Claiborne; one sister, Bobbi Telford of Odessa, TX; four grandchildren, Perry Patterson and wife Ann, Pat Parrish, Chuck Gale and wife Kimberley, Anne Foster and husband David; one great-granddaughter, Ashley Patterson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, George Nock on September 7, 1994.
