Services for Annis May Carter are scheduled for $:00pm Wednesday, January 30, 1991 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel 1100 East Tamarack. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery. Mrs Carter died January 28 at a Tulsa Nursing Home. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Carter was born September 16, 1905 to J.L. and Maudie Stroud Hunt in Altus, where she lived all of her life up until she moved to Tulsa three and a half years ago. Mrs. Carter had worked as a saleslady for numerous retail stores in Altus. Mrs Carter was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a very active member.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her daughter Gladys Marie Thompson and husband Robert of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother Troy Hunt of Vernon, Texas; sisters, Edith Stoneman of Snyder, Oklahoma; Rosalie Halford, Childress, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
