Mr. Arthur Jackson Holcomb, age 77, of Route #3, Altus, died August 21st, 1977 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for August 23, 1977, 3:30 P.M., Tuesday, with the Reverend Madison Clinton officiating and assisted by the Reverend Travis Wiginton. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Holcomb was born on April 25th, 1900 and he was married to the former Emma Dennis in Altus on July 1, 1922. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Emma of the home; two daughters, Katherine Blair of Ft. Worth, TX and Jackie Henson of Altus; one son, James of Lake Charles, LA; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom of Mesquite, TX; two sisters, Annie Wesley of Olny, TX and Clara Holcomb of Arlington, VA.
