Obituary for Arthur Preston Baker
Arthur Preston Baker age 71 of Altus, Oklahoma died February 25, 1969 at the Sulphur Veteran's Hospital in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He was born July 22, 1897 in Healdton, Oklahoma to W. P. and M. L. (Cates) Baker. He was a retired paper hanger & painter and a member of the Church of Christ 1940. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He had been a resident of Ardmore since 1963.

Funeral services for Arthur Preston Baker are scheduled for 2:00pm Friday February 28, 1969 in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Gary Colley. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Arthur Preston Baker is survived by four brothers, Lee Baker, Los Anglers, California; Charley M. Baker, Vernon, Texas; Otis W. Baker, Altus, Oklahoma; Harold Gouge, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
