Obituary for Beatrice Lee Thomason
Beatrice Lee Thomason was born March 27, 1926 at Creta, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Wanda (Holloway) Robnett. She died November 19, 2001 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Beatrice was a long time resident of Jackson County. She was a Methodist and was a self-employed Real Estate Broker.

Bea Thomason served the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW since its local inception in 1949. Her illustrious Career and dedication to all our veterans and their support groups is un-equaled in the life of the organization. During Bea's commitment to her passion, she served in the following posts: Post President, Post 4876, 11 times, between 1952 and 1984, which is more terms than any other President in the history of Ladies Auxiliary Post # 4876; Oklahoma State Treasurer for 11 years, State President, Ladies Auxiliary National Council Member.

Survivors include three children; Donna Rotan and Bruce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Robert Thomason of Lone wold, Oklahoma, Tonya Walder and David of Altus, Oklahoma; also surviving rod Himber of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Kellie King, Erika Lynn Thomason, Brandon Walker and Duece Walker; one greatgrandaughter, Khloe King; two sisters Barbara Wood and Bill of Vinta, Oklahoma, Betty Hyatt and Jon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three brothers, Jim Robnett and Ethyl of Tulare, California, Gerald Robnett and Helen of Phoenix, Arizonia, Johnny Johns and Carol of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a host of other relatives.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, and o brother.

Services for Bea Thomason are scheduled for 2 pm Friday, November 23, 2001 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Bea will be remembered as a very devoted and caring lady and will be greatly missed by a host of loving friends and family.
