Bennie Hooker, 78, passed away Sunday, September 17, 1995, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. benne was born December 6, 1916, in Duke, Oklahoma to Robert and Arthy (Potter) Hooker. On November 29, 1952, he married Anna Juanita Pinner at Altus, Oklahoma. Mrs Hooker preceded him in death on July 14, 1991.
Mr. Hooker was a veteran of World War 11, having served in the U.S. Army. Bennie was a retired farmer and a member of the Eldorado Church of Christ.
Mr Hooker was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita; one brother and one sister. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Kevin C. Burnett of Altus; one sister, Nona Foster of New London, Texas; three grandchildren, James A. Burnett of Lemoore N.A.S., California, Tammy J. Dwyer and Jamie L. Burnett, both of Altus, Oklahoma; and two great-grandchildren, Orrin Burnett of Lemoore N.A.S. California and Ashley Dwyer of Altus.
