Bertha Wood Moore, age 99, passed away Monday, September 8th, 1986, morning at her home in Eldorado, OK. Services have been set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Eldorado Church of Christ officiated by Bill Osborne with Larry Thomas assisting. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born in Hestand, KY January 11th, 1887, she was the daughter of Isham and Mary Wood. She moved to Eldorado at an early age with her parents. She married Holt Moore November 4, 1919 in Eldorado, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore preceded her in death April 15, 1969.
Survivors include: one daughter, Eddie Lovice Moore Mitchell of Eldorado, OK; two grandchildren, Eddie Wayne Mitchell of Eldorado and Dr. Jo Ann Burns of McAllen, TX; three great-grandchildren, Cindy Jo Mitchell Barnett of Slaton, TX, Lisa Diane Mitchell Worrell of Altus, OK and Jason Mitchell Burns of McAllen, TX; one great-great-grandson, Mitchell Heath Barnett of Slaton, TX.
