Obituary for Betty Lou Bradley
Betty Lou Bradley, age 85, of Tipton, passed away early Saturday morning, March 7, 2009, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bradley was born on December 10, 1923, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Living in Arizona in the early years of her life, she moved to Wichita, Kansas where she spent most of her life working as a recorder with seismograph crews in the petroleum industry. After loosing most of her family, she moved to Tipton in 1998, to be near her closest friend of over fifty years, Margaret Johns. Mrs. Bradley loved to travel, cook, entertain guest and spend time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother and one sister, she is survived by four cousins of Arizona and many other friends and relatives that include special friends, Joe and Margaret Johns and Evelyn Dieffenbaugh of Tipton.
Graveside services for Betty Lou Bradley will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Navajo Cemetery with Pastor Harold Gaches officiating. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
