Obituary for Bettye Francis Smith
Bettye Francis Smith was born December 3rd, 1926 at Jonesboro, LA. She died on October 23rd, 1990 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Her parents were Arthur and Ema Sizemore, also of Jonesboro, Louisiana. On December 7, 1946 she was united in marriage to Robert D. Smith of Pampa, TX.

Bettye has been a resident from Jackson County since 1967 when Robert was assigned to Altus Air Force Base.

Bettye was a loving Mother and homemaker. She is survived by her devoted husband, CMSgt (Retired) Robert D. Smith of the home. Two daughters, Robin D. Jones of San Bernardino, CA and Tina Smith Bryant of Altus, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Robbie Bryant of Altus and Whitney Woodward of San Bernardino, CA; two sisters, Polly Porter and Mary Greene, both of Hodge, LA.
She will be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
