Obituary for Billie Chicklero
Billie Chicklero, 81, of Altus, passed away June 14, 2008, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Billie was born March 29, 1927, in Oklahoma City, to T.W. and Beulah (Hutchenson) Mason. She attended school at Porter High in Jackson County until the 9th grade. She married Silvio Chicklero September 17, 1942, in Reno, Nevada. Billie lived in California for many years before returning home to Altus. She was a waitress at Friendship Inn in Altus for several years and was well known and loved by all who knew her. Billie loved to read and watch TV. She also loved to dance and take good care of her loving family.
Billy is survived by her husband, Silvio Chicklero, of the home in Altus; one daughter, Tommie Lee Green of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son, Billy Joe Chicklero of Altus; one sister, Maxine Mason of Altus; a niece, Judith Ann Kastner, also of Altus; and her grandchildren, Dawn Lynn Ramos, Richie Avila, Ray Avila and Mark Chicklero.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Altus City Cemetery with Jerry Don Henry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
