Billie Lorraine Roberts, beloved mother, grandmother, and servant of Christ, went on to be with the Lord on September 4, 2025, at the age of 95.
She was born March 24, 1930, to Bill and Lois Richardson and graduated from Granite High School in 1948. At the age of 12, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, a decision that shaped her life of service, faith, and devotion to others.
On June 26, 1949, Billie married Bill Roberts, and together they shared 37 years of marriage until his passing on June 16, 1986. They built their life and raised their children in Willow, where Billie devoted over 60 years of unwavering service to the Willow Baptist Church, gracing its halls as both a cherished teacher and gifted pianist.
Billie also dedicated herself to her community. She was a proud 50-year member of the Extension Homemakers and a 50-year member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Beginning in 1986, she served on the Willow Cemetery Board, and she gave her time generously through the Election Board and Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her children: Linda Roberts and husband Henry, Donna Callen and husband Hal, and Ted Roberts and wife Dee. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Grant Roberts; Jeff Roberts and wife Erin; Chris Callen and wife Amanda; Carrie Cook-Callen and wife Claire; and Charlsea Ewing. Her great-grandchildren include Graham Roberts, Charlie Roberts, Layla Roberts, Clark Callen, Corinne Callen, and Harper Cook-Callen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Roberts, and her parents, Bill and Lois Richardson.
Billie will be remembered for her fierce independence, unwavering faith, her music, her servant’s heart, and her steadfast love for family and community. Her life was a testimony to the power of devotion, kindness, and quiet strength.
