Billy Don McNutt, age 31, of Mangum, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, August 9, 2010, at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Billy was born on February 16, 1979, in Mesa, Arizona to Bill Ellis and Patricia Ann (Cartwright) McNutt. Moving to Mangum when he was six months old, Billy began school in Mangum and graduated as a Mangum Tiger in 1997. A carpenter, most of his life, he enjoyed fishing, working on sound systems in cars, listening to music, being with friends, but most of all, attending his church.
Preceded in death by two grandmothers, Ola Cartwright and Dorothy McNutt Beal and one grandfather, Bill McNutt, he is survived by his parents, Bill and Pat McNutt of Mangum; one brother, Cary Ellis McNutt and fianc"e Shan of Olustee; one sister, Tabricia McNutt and fianc"e Nick Harpole of North Las Vegas, Nevada; one grandfather, Floyd Cartwright; one niece, Haley McNutt along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Billy McNutt will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010, at The Church Triumphant with Pastor Shawn Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
