Billy J. Hollingsworth was born December 24. 1923 at Olustee, Oklahoma. He died January 30, 1993 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He married Ann Templer August 22, 1941 at Lawton, Oklahoma. He served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He had been a resident of Jackson County most of his life., where he was a plumbing contractor.
Services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. Eugene Foreman officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife Ann Hollingsworth of Altus, Oklahoma; children, Tim Hollingsworth and Mary K. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Woody Hollingsworth and Carolyn of Pryor, Oklahoma; Michelle Hollingsworth of Berkley, California; James Hollingsworth and Ronna of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, Dee Hollingsworth of Davis, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; Tandy Hollingsworth, Chelle Hollingsworth, Dan Hollingsworth, Matt Hollingsworth, Rachel Hollingsworth, Travis Hollingsworth; one great grandchild, Ryan Hollingsworth.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister, Gerildene Doughty.
