Billy Rogers, age 60, a lifelong resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the English Village Manor in Altus.
Billy was born in Altus, Oklahoma on November 30, 1957 to his parents Leo and Dortha (McCaughan) Rogers. Billy worked as a heavy equipment operator for JC Plumbing for many years and he enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was one of eleven brothers and sisters and he will be missed very much.
Preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Teri Michell Rogers; two brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Rogers; and one sister, Margie Hebrank; Billy is survived by his wife LaWanda Rogers; three brothers, Eddie Rogers and wife Erma of Arkansas; Larry Rogers and wife Connie of Arkansas; and Kenneth Rogers and wife Susan of Altus; four sisters, Marolyn Bush of Altus; Carolyn Brandt and husband Chuck of Indiana; Ronda Thomason of Lawton; and Brenda Henkleman and husband Bob of Wisconsin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
The family will greet friends at visitation from 9:00 am, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus with Graveside services following at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Altus with Daniel Ingram officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
