Obituary for Billy Royce Bloomer
Billy Royce Bloomer, age 51, of 2012 Robin St., died Sunday, January 3rd, 1982 in Ardmore of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been sent for 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by Chaplain (Lt, Col) Vernard Utley. Burial will full military honors will be at Altus Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born June 8, 1930 in McCullough County, Texas, he was married in Wadena County, MN on October 11, 1952 to the former Mildred Windels, who survives of the home. He was retired March 31, 1971 at Altus AFB in the grade of Master Sergeant and since retirement was engaged in trucking. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of Viet Nam.
Additional survivors include: one son, Richard Kevin Bloomer of the home and Oklahoma State University; one daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Gibson of Yukon, OK; his Father, Mr. Willie Bloomer of Colorado City, TX; his Mother, Mrs. Winnie Foree of Brady, TX; one brother, Mr. Baron Bloomer of Odessa, TX and one sister, Mrs. Glen Hemphill of Colorado City, TX.
