Obituary for Bobbie Jean Jefferson
Bobbie Jean Jefferson, 76, of Altus, Oklahoma Went home to see her Lord on November 30, 2018 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.
She was born June 1, 1942 in Altus, Oklahoma to Parents A.J. Allison Sr. and Pearlan (Harris) Allison.
Bobbie was raised and educated in Altus, and graduated from Lincoln High School. After high school she starting working for Kellwood as a seamstress. She also worked at Safehouse, caring for young children who were in need. Finally she worked for 21 years at Little School as a cook. SHe had just retired a few months ago.
She was a member of Church of God and Christ in Altus, Oklahoma which turned into Greater Love Church. She loved her church and when ever the church was open she was there. Her church was a large part of her life and she loved her church family as if they her own children.
She was a really deeply spiritual woman who loved the lord. Bobbie was a loving and caring woman who would do anything for her family, neighbors, and friends.
Bobbie is survived by six sisters, Dorthy McDuffy, Shirley Kirkwood, Linda McCoy, Mearle Pennon, Lue Emma Mayberry, Ethel High; Two brothers, Bobby Allison, and Phillip Allison and Numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of loving family.
She was greeted at the gates of Heaven by Parents , and Father, Willie High, Siblings; Billy Allison, A.J. Allison, Jr., L.W. High, Lue Iza White, Georgia Richards, Ruth Ann High,
A viewing will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Lowell Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
A celebration of life service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Greater Love Church in Altus, interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery.
