Bobby was born on March 4, 1953 at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He died on January 16, 2007 in Altus.
He was the son of Bobby Gerald and Delorese Lloyd Land.
He entered active duty in the US Air Force in October 1971. He served 2 tours in Viet Nam and was honorably discharged with 80 percent disability from the USAF in September 1977. He was member of 1st Baptist Church of Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Lake Charles High School in Lake Charles, La. He completed 2 years at Oklahoma State University.

Bobby is survived by his parents Bobby Gerald and Delorese Lee Lloyd Land; children, daughter, Marielle Land Howard and son, Christopher Paul Land. Three grandchildren, Caitlynn Marian-Jean Land, Jordyn Christopher Land and Hunter Isaac Howard. One aunt Luella Land, one nephew Tyler Don Land, two nieces Suzette Hopkins, Michelle Connor and one sister-in-law Donna Land.

He was preceded in death by one brother Philip Land.

Memorial service are Friday January 19, 2007 at 1:30 pm, at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Altus City Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
