Bobby Gene Miller age 63, resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away at his home Monday, May 22, 2023.
Bobby was born June 16, 1959, in Mangum, Oklahoma to Gene and Louise (McCafferty) Miller. He was raised and educated in Mangum, Oklahoma and graduated with the class of 1977.
Bobby worked for the city of Mangum for sixteen years as an Electrician. He enjoyed working for the City of Mangum and serving the people of his beloved hometown. Bobby also worked for Mangum Oil and Gas for over ten years delivering propane to rural residents of Greer County.
To say Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing would be a huge understatement, Bobby loved the outdoors and at every opportunity he had he was hunting or fishing. He enjoyed hunting Coyotes, Deer, but his favorite was hunting rattlesnakes. Bobby was a believer in Jesus Christ, he enjoyed attending church at several different churches around Mangum including, House of Grace, First Baptist Church, and Light House. Bobby loved surrounding himself with family and friends and loved laughing and making other’s laugh any chance he got. He was always up for a good time. He was a caring, loving father to both his daughters and loved teaching them about the outdoors as well. Many didn’t know this, but Bobby was artistic and loved nature photography. He would take a camera with him on his snake hunts to capture the scenery and wildlife.
Left to honor Bobby's memory are his, Father, Gene Miller, Daughters, Tara Terry and husband Michael, Savanah Reynolds, and husband Trystan, Sister, Patty York and husband Brent; three grandchildren, Austin Terry, Clayton Terry, and Roen Reynolds,
Preceded in death by Mother, Louise (McCafferty) Miller.
The Miller family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2023, at Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma with a committal service to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Mangum, Oklahoma.
Services have been entrusted to Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma.
