Obituary for Bonnie Jean Foster
Bonnie Jean Foster is now safely home in heaven with her Lord and Savior. Her earthly journey of 80 years ended when she stepped into the glorious presence of Jesus on October 31st, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Bonnie was born on December 10th, 1938 in Oklahoma City to Claude and Helen Snow. On May 18th, 1958 she married the love of her life, Jerry Harvey Foster. They were blessed with 50 wonderful years together. She loved her life’s work as a homemaker, diligently providing and caring for her family.
Bonnie was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church in Henryetta, where at the age of 12 she came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. On that day, Bonnie’s name was written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Bonnie believed the Bible to be the inerrant, inspired, infallible, true, eternal and living word of God. She was a student of the Bible, had a strong faith in God and loved to worship her Lord through music and song.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Jerry.
She is survived by her son Jay Foster and wife Jana of Altus, daughter Rebecca Foster of Oklahoma City, two beloved granddaughters Jaycee Lauren and Jenna Haley of Altus, sister Beverly Mauch of Checotah, and brother Ronald Snow and wife Garalyn of Ramona, California.
Funeral services will be held at the FirstBaptist Church in Henryetta on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at 11:00am under the direction of Integrity Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Dr. Timothy Walker, pastor of First Baptist Church, Stillwater. Internment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
